Justin D. Davis - Roger Jensen

Justin lives with his family - a wife, two children, an evil cat, and a crazy dog - in Westminster, Colorado. He teaches high school language arts and theatre while pursuing his doctorate in Educational Renewal and Change through Colorado State University. In addition to teaching, he enjoys studying different cultures, performing on the stage, and, of course, reading, watching, writing, and researching the horror genre. When not spending time with his family, scaring himself, or burying his nose in a book, he can be seen scaring others, zooming around the Denver metro area on his scooter. In addition to being the Horror Films feature writer on Suite101.com, he also serves as the editor of the Horror Literature site at Bellaonline.com and has published a book of regional ghost stories centered around Buckskin Joe Frontier Town, an old west town in Colorado.

Justin has been a fan of horror films since he can remember - while he enjoys blood and guts as much as the next average, normal, and completely sane person, he believes that the horror genre in its varying and diverse forms serves as a catharsis in dealing with our collective and personal fears surrounding life, human nature, and uncertainty. He would like to point out that, in many horror films, good and hope triumph over evil and pessimism - that is, at least, until the sequel.
